NorthLANs Alliance formed as a business in 2002. We started with humble beginnings out of our basements with an extremely unique triple-redundant VPN between houses and a vision for how to make the Internet simpler for small businesses. We still have that vision and now operate out of state-of-the-art data centers on first class redundant hardware. The founders of NorthLANs Alliance have years of skill and experience in all facets of the IT industry, including managing servers, web sites, design and programming, data backup, network survivability, disaster recovery, telephony and Voice-over-IP (VOIP), E-commerce/shopping carts, security and applications -- everything you need as a small business but can't afford to do yourself.
HIPPA? Sarbanes Oxley? SAS 70? Hackers & security? Your business would go bankrupt if you had to deal with these things yourself or you just plain wouldn't have a web site. Web sites today though are a sign of the times--a requirement for most small businesses to do business... and what about E-mail?
