NorthLANs Alliance is not responsible for the content of any site being hosted, and the opinions and views expressed on these sites do not necessarily reflect the opinions and views of NorthLANs Alliance's. Site contents are not reviewed before they become available for public access.
You may not use your web site, nor have links that point to:
- Material grossly offensive to the Web community and the general public
- Expressions of bigotry, racism, hatred, profanity
- Providing information concerning illegal activities
- Promoting physical harm against a group or an individual
- Copyrighted material unauthorized by its rightful owner
- Pornography, foul language, illegal software, mail fraud, pyramid schemes
- Software pirating, violating third party intellectual property rights (e.g. Warez,) MP3 files or sites,
Hacking, Phreaking or invading the rights of computer users.
General Guidelines:
You may not send bulk unsolicited e-mail (spam) or mass news postings from your site, or send such with your
NorthLANs Alliance web site listed as the contact address. By hosting your web site and / or e-mail with NorthLANs Alliance you agree to the terms and conditions set forth by this document.
Liabilities of NorthLANs Alliance:
- Allocating agreed amount of web
space as stated in plan.
- Host your site on servers maintained and owned by
NorthLANs Alliance.
- Provide hosting service at the highest quality and uptime possible.
- Service is subject to Internet backbone providers making access available.
By accepting this document you:
- Agree to abide by the conditions of this document.
- Agree to use your site conforming to all applicable laws.
- Agree to take full responsibility for your site's content and agree to immediately reimburse
NorthLANs Alliance for all legal and other expenses incurred in relation to your site's content.
- State that your pages do not contain or linked to any of the items in 'Page Content Guidelines' above.
- Agree not to attempt to gain an unauthorized access to any systems or networks under the control of
NorthLANs Alliance network.
- State that nothing on your pages have been approved, verified or reviewed by
NorthLANs Alliance.
- Agree that NorthLANs Alliance has the right to remove any page it deems in its sole judgment, has violated guidelines set forth here.
- Agree that the use of your site is entirely at your own risk.
- Agree that the site is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.
- Agree to hold NorthLANs Alliance harmless against any liabilities and expenses that might arise in relation to your site's content.
- State that NorthLANs Alliance has the right to delete pages it deems nonconforming to the above guidelines without prior notice.
- Understand that your site is subject to deletion if a subscription plan for the site was not purchased within 30 days or a plan was not renewed when due for renewal or a periodic payment for such a plan was not made.
Limitation of Liability. The user, (you) understands that the Internet and other various networking communication mediums are not secure, unless explicitly specified as such, and may be subject to interception or loss.
NorthLANs Alliance makes no warranties of any kind, either expressed, implied, or statutory concerning the data or information available through the
NorthLANs Alliance network. In no event will NorthLANs Alliance be liable to the user for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the services or any products provided under this agreement, even if
NorthLANs Alliance has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
NorthLANs Alliance liability to the user for actual damages for any cause whatsoever, regardless of the form of the action will be strictly limited to
the fees paid for the prior twelve months.
This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the state of
Minnesota applicable to contracts entered into and wholly to be performed therein, without regard to that body of law applicable to conflicts of laws.
Notices hereunder shall be sufficient if sent by electronic mail to the addresses specified by you and us elsewhere on these web sites. We may modify this agreement upon reasonable notice to you, and your continued use of our services after receiving such notice shall constitute your acceptance of such modifications. If any of the terms of this agreement are deemed to be unenforceable, the other terms shall be unaffected.
